Personal callers are welcome at my shop but please call in advance if making a special journey just to see me. For the record I also have an extensive stock of COMMONWEALTH and BRITISH plus a good general stock of Foreign. I’m interested in offers of all material and will buy or trade but please call me in advance before sending.
A stamp collector since 1963 I entered into full time stamp dealing in 1977 when I was employed by Stanley Gibbons. My shop, opened in 1994, is located right in the middle of London in the historic Covent Garden area. Outside is the original Victorian gas lamp (circa 1880) that is still working to this day!
My US stock is one of the biggest if not THE biggest in Europe. Few "state side" dealers deal in ALL periods of US like I do! I'm also pleased to say that I acted as a consultant for Stanley Gibbons for the pricing of their 6th edition - Part 22 - UNITED STATES - Catalogue for which they thank me in the Preface...you are welcome Hugh!
I fly to the States around 6-8 times a year and can be seen at most major exhibitions there so I have a good knowledge of the US stamp market.
Generally the shop is open six days a week, 10.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 10.30am to 3pm. Please call in advance if making a special journey just to see me as I do take the odd day off. If I’m away on a business trip I do change the message on my answering machine stating my expected return date.
